Toshiba has been producing quality table type boring mills for many decades. Endusers, have enjoyed the quality and ease of use of Toshiba BTD style boring mills originally equipped with TOSNUC 777 CNC controls, better know as Triple 7 and Triple 7.2 . Unfortunately. the time has come when these CNC controls are no longer supported, thus locating replacement parts is almost impossible. Even the OEM has no stock, and the only alternative is to send the suspect part back to the factory to try and repair. This process is expensive and time consuming.

Team Machine Tools, through direct feedback from BTD endusers and our vast knowledge of BTD machines, recognized the need for an engineered retrofit package to replace the aging systems on these machines. Not only are the Tosnuc controls obsolete, the Sony Magnascales used by Toshiba have been unsupported for years.
